Meet
Jerome
This is my annual "Departure Project"
Each winter I create a collage or mosaic. This departure from sea glass rejuvenates my creativity and gets me ready for another season. I purchased this skull on a very special trip to Sedona, AZ with my husband Dave. We visited a very cool town called Jerome. It rises up 1,000 feet from the 4,300 feet in Sedona area. The winding drive up reminded us of the Grinches domain! A former copper mine community turned ghost to a town when the mine dried up.  Since the 70's it has been reviving as an artsy haven. Do not miss it if you go west. Dave went nuts wandering the old mine grounds looking at the abandoned vehicles form all eras while I had head hanging downward rock hunting!
Jerome is in process and I will share as I go
